The policies and regulations that are impeding business growth in China today, and what influence such barriers will have on China’s future economy, especially in domestic consumer markets. Tips for businesses in China to avoid both current and pending hurdles stemming from such policies and regulations.
Bio: Mr. Bishop is a lecturer at the University of Hong Kong and the International MBA Program at Fudan University, Shanghai. Specializing in complex, cross-boundary transactions, Mr. Bishop’s practice has had a particular focus on assisting foreign enterprises with their Chinese investments.
Mr. Bishop is also the Founder and President of Bishop Global Consulting, a consulting firm in Hong Kong that helps companies with their legal needs. Over the past year, he has handled transactions on 4 continents.
Education: Mr. Bishop holds a Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown University Law Center, and a BA in Mandarin Chinese and History.
He is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
