Hong Kong Bureau Chief at The Economist Group
Past: Mr. Easton joined The Economist in 2000 from Forbes Magazine, where he had been a senior editor.
He was initially based in New York, first as a senior correspondent, then as the New York Bureau Chief.
His current assignment is his second in Asia, have previously been the Tokyo Bureau Chief of
The Baltimore Sun.
In 2006 he was named financial journalist of the year
in London.
